This is a perfect tour for budget travel and those with limited time in Tanzania. We take you to three famous Parks that are mostly visited, the Parks are Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater. All of these Parks will provide you with amazing experiences that will make you want to come back to Tanzania.
After a short briefing in the morning, you will be taken to the Tarangire National Park. The park with its endless tree Savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. In addition to elephants, you are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus, and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Upon arrival at the park, your guide will open the roof of the vehicle and the extensive wildlife viewing will begin. Lunch will be taken at a picnic spot and in the afternoon you will get to see more of this amazing and beautiful park. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the recommended campsite/lodge, located outside of the park for your overnight stay.
After breakfast you will depart towards the Rift Valley, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu, in the cooler regions of the crater highlands. You will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop for a short look into the crater from a viewing point. The World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25000 animals including a wide variety of birds, It is home to the big five animals, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Exiting the park the crater on a different ascend road you will drive to Mto wa mbu where you will spend the night at the recommended lodge.
Early morning following after breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park, the park has a variety of diverse habitats, rivers flowing off the escarpment, and perennial springs below the rift wall support tall, evergreen groundwater forests. Lake Manyara is known for a flock of thousands of flamingos that feed along the edge of the Lake in the wet season. Wildebeest exclusively graze the Alkaline grassland around the lake, and numbers are highest during the dry season, other common residents are zebra, waterbuck, grant’s gazelle, warthog, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, African wildcat, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox and other more. Lake Manyara hosts over 400 species of birds, it is a small park, a perfect place to rest and tranquility because it guarantees you relaxing ambiance to enjoy. Lunch will be enjoyed en-route at a chosen picnic site, later drive back to Arusha.
